The US is the biggest importer worldwide, importing almost 15% of the world’s imports. Main imports include Machinery including computers, Electrical machinery, equipment, Vehicles, Pharmaceuticals.
Some of the main exports are Cars and Electronic Integrated Circuits.
On the 20th of January 2025 President Donald Trump had his inauguration day at the US Capitol in Washington. After being sworn in as president, he promised to bring a new “Golden Age of America” by putting the United States of America first. A trade mission to New York in the United States of America was organized from 25 April until 28 April. The trade mission was called Liveable Cities and was organized by Amsterdam International Business. It was organized, because the Clipper Stad Amsterdam docked in New York during these days.
From September 12th till the 14th of September, the very successful International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2022 took place in Chicago. This trade mission focused on various sectors, it included metal work, automation, machine components, fabrication components, and more.
