IMTS 2022: Trade Mission in Chicago

IMTS is a show that included over 86 000 registered professionals, over 1 800 exhibiting companies at McCormick Place, and a total of 120 countries attended this trade fair.

TRANSFER aided 10 Dutch companies to obtain 50+ tailored made matchmaking sessions during the trade fair.

These meetings were organized by TRANSFER with the help of the ‘Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij’. We would also like to thank the Koninklijke Metaalunie, Consul General of Chicago, the RVO, and InnovationQuarter for their help during the mission.

Throughout the trade fair, apart from the 50+ meetings, companies also had the opportunity to walk around and visit companies directly at their booths and set up their own meetings and gain new insights about possible innovations in the industry they are operating in.

The Dutch companies that participated in the trade mission were CEAD Group, AAE BV, SwipeGuide, EdingCNC, Skelex, Movexx International BV, Mission Control Lab, Warp VR, WEMO Nederland BV and KPMG Meijburg & Co.

The goal of the day was to build a stronger relationship between the Midwest and The Netherlands. Throughout the days, besides the tailor made matchmaking, there were knowledge gaining sessions and a full fair with stands of American companies that allowed for companies to reach out to more companies by themselves and gain insights and knowledge about the industry they are operating in.

A quote from the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Chicago

The Netherlands Manufacturing Trade Mission to IMTS2022 was a rousing success. We had a fantastic time showing such a diversified, innovative, and exciting group of Dutch companies around Chicago, and we look forward to assisting them as they continue to explore the US market. Big thanks to our co-organizer, TRANSFER.LC for handling the matchmaking.
