Relationship between international business, closing deals, and business travel since the pandemic

TRANSFER CEO, Gerald Baal was recently interviewed by the Dutch Public Broadcaster (NPO) 📺 for their programme Nieuwsuur. The broadcast focussed on the relationship between international business, closing deals, and business travel since the pandemic, as well as whether the changes in doing business have remained or have gone back to the normal travel itineraries before COVID-19.

TRANSFER.LC’s main takeaways?: 🔎 Research amongst our clients has shown that, on the one hand, it is difficult to close international business deals based purely on virtual meetings. On the other, it is not necessary to have all the business meetings take place in-person. Therefore, a combination of both virtual and in-person meetings lead to more efficient and productive collaborations in this day and age.

With this hybrid way of working, TRANSFER has successfully reduced its travel by approximately 70%, has replaced most of its international travel by train and online meetings, and when we fly, we structurally compensate our CO2emissions.

✈️ Safe & clean travels!
