With the port of Rotterdam and Antwerp, Schiphol Airport Amsterdam, and Brussels Airport having strong European logistics functions. Brussels is considered to be a European Political capital. Various renowned international trade fairs happen in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Brussels, showing the international reach of The Benelux.

The sector specialities are agriculture, distribution, retail and e-commerce, sustainable construction, energy transition, creative industries.
