Intern in 2011 → Country Manager France

Desiree

In 2011, I stumbled upon TRANSFER and applied immediately for their internship position. After a 10-month internship at the Paris office, there was a connection and have been at the company since. I stayed in Paris, where I am now the Country Manager and one of the seniors at the office. Supervising my own interns, I feel full circle from my start as a young professional, to now an experienced Senior teaching the newer generation on doing business in France.

I started at TRANSFER in 2014 as an intern and did many cool projects with different country-teams. During my studies I often worked freelance with TRANSFER, and in 2018, I became a full-time consultant. From there I have grown to be a Project Manager, Senior, and Internship Supervisor at the company. TRANSFER provides endless possibilities, and I am thankful for this opportunity that has taken me to so many places and made me grow into the woman I am today.”

My internship at TRANSFER was my first experience working in an office environment for 8 hours, and it was very valuable. I learned many things and was able to apply the skills I had and learn new skills that will be valuable for the future and present of my work and student life. The friendliness of the office and the trade missions made the long days worth it.

It was a very instructive and wonderful time. Looking back, I can say that I have grown both personally and professionally. I have worked on several projects, including a creative industries trade mission commissioned by the Canadian and Dutch governments. I am very happy that I was given the opportunity to become a part of TRANSFER.LC

“As part of my first year of my master’s degree, I did an internship of 6 months at TRANSFER.LC. It was a great experience, I had the opportunity to work on meaningful missions and I could develop my skills in international trade, business development, and project organization. It was also an excellent human experience, the atmosphere in the office was excellent, and I was surrounded by dynamic colleagues with a strong team spirit. My supervisor was also very attentive and available, with great experience, she knew how to adapt to each trainee and their respective abilities.

Without doubts, my internship at TRANSFER was an experience. During the last months I had the chance to work and learn more about different sectors such as manufacturing, sustainable mobility and wines. I learned how to work on the go during calls and meetings, and dealing with situations that might be out of my comfort zone. I am grateful for the chance that was given to me and for the people I met.”
